About Us
Our Beliefs
Based on the examples set forth in scripture from the early church and the teachings of Jesus Christ, we believe the church is not a building or place, but rather a community of believers called to live out life as disciples of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-31, Ephesians 5:25-30, Romans 16:1-16). Christ himself summed up the foundation of His teaching by saying: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'” (Luke 10:27)
Our Ministries
Food Pantry & Clothing Closet
Our food pantry and clothing closet are open every Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. There is no cost or documentation required to receive food or shop the clothing closet.
We rely on the donations of our neighbors and supporters. Donations of gently-use, clean clothes can be made via the orange donation bin, or in-person on Wednesday nights.
Donations of food can be made in-person on Wednesday nights, or by appointment.
Monetary donations can be made online or mailed to: Living Waters of Capon Bridge, 155 Capon School St., Capon Bridge, WV 26711.
Bailey’s Closet
Bailey’s Closet is a place of confidence, refuge, and encouragement for young ladies. They provide dresses for formal occassions, such as homecoming, prom, and weddings.
Bailey’s Closet is open during specific seasons and by appointment only. See their Facebook Group for more information or to request and appointment.
Bridge Buddies
Bridge Buddies provides before-and-after-school care for Capon Bridge Elementary students. Morning care is from 6:30-7:30 a.m. and includes a light breakfast. After care is from 3:15-5:30 p.m. and includes a snack.
